To teach or not to teach, there is no question.  

      My passions are to teach and to understand the world around me.  Science is my life.   Toward this end I earned double majors in zoology and applied mathematics with minors in chemistry and physics from Weber State University.  I also picked up an associate in biomedical engineering.   

     Both of my parents were teachers.   I got my start teaching with my parents at a regional teacher's conference at age 9.  I have spent over a decade teaching at scout camps throughout the West.  I previously taught at the Ott planetarium, The Living Planet Aquarium, and even owned my own tutoring company.  This year I get to teach your kids, and hopefully, help them to understand the world around them!
